GOD GIVES US TALENTS AND ABILITIES ! HE PUTS HIS PEOPLE IN MANY DIFFERENT OCCUPATIONS !HE GIVES US TALENTS TO REACH OTHERS !THEIR ARE MANY ARTISTS {SINGERS, PAINTERS, ACTORS} WHO HAPPEN TO BE CHRISTIANS ! AN ARTIST WHEN HE OR SHE, SINGS, PAINTS, ETC IT IS EN OUTWARD EXPRESSION OF THEIR INNER FEELINGS ! THEY SEE THE BEAUTY IN LIFE ,IN A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET , OR FLOWER ! IF THEY CAN EXPRESS FEELINGS {EXCITED OR DEPRESSED } THEY ARE BEING TRUE TO THEMSELVES AS WELL AS OTHERS !THEY SEE BEAUTY , THEY FEEL HURT AND LONELINESS !LOVE AND THE PAIN OF LOSS ! YET GOD GIVES US ALL STRENGTH AND POWER AS WE ALL LEARN TO TRUST HIM ! WE ARE NOT PERFECT. WE GET UPSET ,GET IN THE FLESH, WE ARE ALL HUMAN . BUT WE COME TO GOD AND HE FORGIVES US WHEN WE REPENT, AND HE HELPS US GET BACK ON TRACK ! WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

I think your right! Always accept the good. In order to do that, you must be able to see it. If you’re always spending
your time analyzing and dealing with the bad… it’s easy to get devoured by it. Put the things
that you have no control over in Gods hands, and put your hands to the plow and deal with the
things that you do have control over. That’s faith in a nut shell.

I was reading in the word this morning about Jesus telling Peter that Satan wanted to sift him. I have read this before and thought this to be a pretty scary scenario, but it occurred to me this morning that there was a very good reason why God would allow something like this to happen. I can almost see the accuser standing there telling God how rotten and awfull his servant was...calling him a fraud and unworthy to call himself a deciple of Christ. " Here, let me sift him and I'll show you just how terrible he is" I have often compared myself to Peter because I too am a little rough around the edges and I recently went through a rough period of time. My wife and I were separated for 10 months and had determined that divorce was emminent. In fact I had my bags packed and headed out of state. During those 10 months I sold myself out to the church getting involved with every committee that came along such as leading an evangelism team and worship too. I thought this would be enough to keep my mind where it needed to be but unfortuneately I fell into sin, despite my own efforts. I believe Satan wanted to accuse and expose me as a fraud just like he did with Peter and I believe God allowed it to happen, and when all the sin and rotenness was brought out, what was left? Just me...humbled, and in a place that God could pick me up and make me new. I am now back with my wife and just happy to be in the truth and allowing God to use me the way He sees fit. I have learned how to surrender and depend on him for my strength and shelter instead of the works I was hiding behind. I am now letting him choose my battles and he is able to use the gifts he gave me to bring Glory to himself. So now when I stop and listen to the music, I am careful to be sure it is Him singing to me, then I'm able to sing back to him. Sorry to ramble but I wanted to share what was on my heart, it seemed to fit.

Years ago a brother taught me a simple little song that has so much practical religion in it. It goes through varioius furits of the Spirit.
'This love that I have,
The world didn't give it to me

For the verses substitute peace and joy, then for the last verse it's:

'This Lord that I have,
The world didn't give Him to me...

And the world can't take Him away.'

I PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS MERCY ! I JUST GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL A FEW DAYS AGO. I SLIPPED INTO DEPRESSION AND WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR THAT !MY HEART WAS ACTING UP FIRST , BUT IT WAS OK ! THE DR WAS GONNE SEND ME HOME TILL I TOLD HIM I NEEDED HELP BECAUSE OF HEAVY DEPRESSION !FRANKLY I WAS SCARED I WOULD HURT MYSELF ,BUT KNEW THAT WAS NOT THE ANSWER ! THE LORD GOT ME THRU THINGS ! PTL ! GOD LOVES US SUPREMELY ! WHEN WE KEEP OUR EYES FOCUSEED ON CHRIST , WE ARE VICTORIOUS ! WHEN WE TAKE OUR EYES OFF OF HIM, THE DEVIL HAS A FIELD DAY WITH US ! TRUST IN THE LORD ! HE WILL GET US THRU ALL THE TRIALS WE GO THRU ! HE LOVES US ...HE IS SO GOOD !
