Hi Kirk, Thanks for the info and the followup... I met Linc a couple years ago at CMS - Christian Musicians Summit . He's really cool and shares his heart in a transparent way. Cool that you have a student to continue and grow to serve . One of my high school students recently joined my team too.
I use a '92 Alvarez Yari acoustic , '76 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, Variax 500 and the POD X3 Live. Workin on assembling a home studio to record practice trax for my team and for songcrafing.
Major transitions going on in my church - albeit positive - but change non-the-less. God is good and faithful, I will trust Him and I wonder what He is preparing me for....I appreciate your prayers on this .... Do you serve on a full time basis at your church?

Hey Jerry, I told you the guitarist from Switchfoot, I meant Reliant K. Sorry.

I was noticing that one of your influences is Lincoln Brewster. That's cool! I used to live about a half an hour from him and a student I once had is the acoustic guitar player on Lincoln's live album. Good stuff!

The guitar is a recent add. I just acquired it in May. The recordings are mainly with my Taylor, however on the song His Pleasure my friend is playing a Petros in addition to me playing the Taylor. Let me just say that to get a fuller sound out of the Taylor for worship, I added compression, and a tube preamp to warm up the sound. This is because Taylors tend to sound a bit bright, great guitars though. I plugged the Baden directly in and the sound was unreal! No need for effects. There are lots of sound bites at the Baden website. Some of the artists are, Bo Bice, the guitarist from Switchfoot, Tim McGraw's guitarist, Ben Owens, John Cephas and many more. Check 'em out at http://www.badenguitars.com/index/bg.htm
Thanks and God Bless!
