- Here's a bit about myself...
- I love to play my guitar, write songs and sing and record. My hope is to someday hear one of my songs recorded by an artist and played on the radio. I now write solely Christian music. I love to try, explore and learn difficult guitar parts. God has blessed me so much and I never want to take that for granted. I have such a deep desire to serve God with the music he has given me and the talents I have.
- Mentor?
- I don't know if I have ever had a mentor. I have had to learn just about all I know from recordings of past artists and careful study through many years. My favorite guitar players are mostly fingerpickers. Jerry Reed, Tommy Emmanuel, Buster Jones, Chet Atkins, and Thom Bresh to name a few. I also love to hear jazz players like George Benson, Tal Farlow, and Kenny Burrell, Scotty Anderson.
- What's your favorite band or style of music?
- Again fingerstyle guitar, jazz, and blues!
Christian ...Third Day, Jars of Clay, Andre Crouch, Keith Green,....too too many to name!
Country...The great fingerpickers!
Rock...Boston, Doobie Brothers, (I am a child of the 70's)
Jazz...George Benson, Larry Carlton, John Coltrane
Blues..The great Stevie Ray Vaughen, BB King, Ray Charles,...could go on and on!
