- Here's a bit about myself...
- I started playing the guitar at about 7 years of age (I think that’s a pretty common age). Soon after I had left the military at Fort Ord California I was asked to participate in a talent show at a local tavern. I wrote all of my material, and performed a song I had written called “Friends”. The song was a big hit and I won the talent show.
After that it didn’t take long to realize that I could make good money playing at the local taverns and VFW’s in and around Salinas California. I have been playing ever since with one local band or another and have done several solo appearances as well. In November of 2007 my wife and I were baptized at Heavens Edge Church, here in Carrollton Ohio, and at that point my life began to change, and so did my music.
On April 28th of 2008 the Lord was dealing hard with my heart, and I realized that my music and ability to write could have a great influence on a great many people. My pastor, Bill Grimes had brought me into the church to play with him and provide music at the church. He also being a great song writer and composer has been a major influence not only in my walk with God himself, but in the music department as well.
Needless to say my Pastor became my very best friend (next to Jesus himself) and we are also beginning to work together in the studio along with his two sons. I am very excited about that project as well (stay tuned for more). After learning how to play the keyboard for our church, I realized the great potential it had in creating different instrument sounds, and that was all it took to open the door for me to create whatever music that I wanted to create. And so it began.
In the end… my music is not my own, but what has been given to me by my father in Heaven. I include him in every track I record, and in everything that I do. My ability only reaches so far, but the message it delivers is what is most important to me.

The little girl in the video is a doll baby. Is she your daughter? It takes me back several years to my own daughter when she was that age. The time you have is to be treasured every minute. They so soon grow up! Wow I'm starting to sound like my own parents! God bless you! Your recent kind words were a gift from God to me that were needed.
