Hi Tawny - Thank you for stopping by my page and leaving that lovely comment. I am so blessed by this site too. It has been water to my thirsty soul. Good meeting you and looking forward to knowing you more. Your song is absolutely lovely. Keep praising our Savior through your ministry.
Hi Tawny,
How lovely to be contacted from the USA!
I've been writing for a while now. Worship songs for our band and group - Soul Patrol to sing in our church.
It's quite a traditional church in many ways but we are moving forward and the music is some of what's taking us there - not mine in particular, but the fact I am included is fab.
We have a Café Church service once a month which is relaxed and informal and we have almost exclusively worship songs then but we always finish with a big old traditional hymn. We never want to forget where we've come from - that's important too.
I write songs which cover all sorts of aspects of worship - thanks and praise, telling the story, walking with Jesus - you know all the usual stuff! And in all sorts of styles though we often tend to lean towards a bit of a country feel.
What about you? How's your song-writing going and guitar learning? I'm fortunate that my husband (and one of my sons) is a good guitarist and is helping me to learn. My other son plays drums and he sorts out any timing issues - O yes! There have been a few!
Sorry to ramble on in response to your post. Do tell me a bit about yourself.
Good morning Tawny, I'm so glad you Took time to Worship with us. Ditto's on the friendship part. We are so busy these days, but we like it....God is good, and we ask that he grant you that impossible request, In Jesus Name! Blessings, Pastor Jeff
