10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 ( Titus 2:14, 1 Peter 3:13, James 2:17, James 2:26)
I have read Ephesians 2:10 many times, but just recently this verse seems to be pressing into my mind, heart and everyday life. To simply put it I find myself wondering if what I am doing are things that God has prepared for me. And how do I measure it to know that it is from God?
Another verse Mark 9:1.
1And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."
“Kingdom of God come with power” when Jesus said this who was he talking to? If you look at the verse in context, you will find that he is talking to the disciples. We know that Jesus does not lie. Knowing that all the disciples are dead leads me to ask, what did he mean, by “Kingdom of God, come with Power?”
While pondering this I came up with another question. Does the understanding of these questions come with the understanding of John 3:3.
3In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
I realize this BLOG has more questions than answers. Join me in prayer to understand this. I’m not going to assume I know the answers but I do have my ideas. May be on the next BLOG I’ll share them. Until then many blessings to all! One more thing, please keep Boaz and the Band ministry in your prayers. Fan into Flame!!!!!
